Summer camp is underway at The Renaissance International School. Our school is an international center of learning and culture. We provide an environment that is open, supportive and multidisciplinary so that each child thrives and develops his or her potential.

Our summer program has two components: Montessori classroom activities in the morning, followed by summer camp in the afternoon.

This schedule is consistent with our philosophy that education is an ongoing process in which children are continuously learning and gaining knowledge from an enriching environment. This enables children to pursue their interests and maximize their potential.

Creative Summer Camp Programs

Our summer camp programs are fun and creative. Some of the programs we offer for children entering first grade through eighth grade include:

  • Chess
  • Drama
  • El Mundo De La Electricidad Y Magnetismo
  • Fitness and Soccer
  • Hungarian Cooking
  • Kids Carpentry
  • Knit, Crochet and Friendship Bracelets
  • La Cuisine Française
  • Robotics
  • Table Tennis
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Volleyball

Puzzles and Mazes Summer Camp

We also have a Puzzles and Mazes camp in which campers play with jigsaw puzzles and mazes. They work on different items throughout the one-week session and use their artistic skills to make their own mazes or puzzles.

Painting a Mural at Camp

For those who enjoy art, we have several choices including our mural camp in which over the course of three weeks a school mural is created. Campers work with instructors to prepare the surface, design and make a plan. Once the prep work is done, painting begins.
